Florida Biodiesel, Inc. has completed a B-500 Biodiesel plant sale to the Northern Grains Co-op, Belize. The Biodiesel production equipment will be used to recycle soybean oil and produce Biodiesel for Belize.
The Northern Grains Co-op has chosen the B-500 Biodiesel processor for their first transesterification facility. The B-500 Biodiesel plant is cost-effective to operate and will allow the Northern Grains Co-op to produce 1600 gallons of Biodiesel each 24 hours. The B-500 will also be used as a hands-on educational tool to show the Belize government agencies how to make renewable energy. “They will process soybean oil from their current crushing operations into Biodiesel fuel,” says William Gehrs, of Florida Biodiesel, Inc. “The B-500 is easy to operate with unskilled labor and will economically produce Biodiesel for them.”
