Florida Biodiesel, Inc. has completed an ECA-1 Hypochlorous acid manufacturing plant sale to Cortes de Cima, Vidigueira, Portugal. The Hypochlorous acid production equipment will be used to eradicate viruses and other plant pathogens.
Cortes de Cima has chosen the ECA-1 Hypochlorous acid manufacturing plant to produce Hypochlorous acid (HOCL) for pathogen control at Cortes de Cima Family Vineyards. The ECA-1 Hypochlorous acid plant is shipped complete and ready to use allowing operators to safely produce 350 gallon batches of Hypochlorous acid each 24 hours. “Hypochlorous acid is proven to be safe, environmentally friendly, and fast acting against a broad range of resistant pathogens,” says Hans Jorgensen of Cortes de Cima. “We will use Hypochlorous acid in our vineyards and groves to reduce diseases and increase our yields.”
